From the monthly archives:

April 2008

and it is time for Mosaic Baptist people to engage deeply into a time of prayer. “

I do believe that the rythmn of our journey as a community of Christ followers is transitioning from allegro to andante or even largo for the next few months to come. It does not mean that we are slowing down in our passion and enthusiasm. We have been on the go in establishing mnistries since the beginning of this year. Then I start to notice a lot of prayer requests are surfacing. Perhaps this is the time when God demands us to pray hard as a community.

Prayer

Let me encourage you to pray as individuals or in your life group gatherings for the following:

• Dennis Ho’s participation in the World Race: financial support, spiritual and emotional readiness.

• Beatrice Choi’s (Auntie Beatrice from Rosewood Baptist) cancer surgery on May 2.

• Jonathan Lai and Amy Tung’s wedding on May 24.

• Edward Yee and Rebecca Chan’s wedding on June 7.

• Lon Wong’s future ministry decisions.

• Eddie Chee’s future ministry decisions.

• UT student exams.

• Missions trip preparations: Vicky Wen and Lindsay Wong to Peru; Stephanie Tung to South America; Henry Chow to Chibougaumou.

• Jennifer Wong’s bread shop ministry preparation.

• Mosaic Baptist’s next step: 2009 and beyond,

• Spiritual protection for Mosaic Baptist.

Let’s PRAY HARD.

Anonymous 1) The greatest trick the devil ever pulled, was convincing the world he didn’t exist; and allowing the indifference of man to flourish.

I am thankful and inspired by the momentum Mosaic has experienced over the past year. Happy Birithday, Mosaic. Praise the Lord.

Anonymous 2) I must do something about this - raise awareness, prayer, gather people to join me, go to East Asia. GOD IS WAY BIGGER than this giant! Awareness, Advocate, Action,

“all that is needed for oppression to succeed is for others to do nothing.”

If you thought that last video was old, this one’s even older.

And on that night, here’s to Ka and Jennifer turning another year older, and to the rest of you crazy folks at Mosaic.
