Hi Henry/Donna,

I couldn't agree with you more on this. To me, Sunday should always be a day set aside for the Lord; to renew ourselves and to prepare our hearts to worship Him, to thank Him for His goodness and to meditate on His Word in order to help us stand firm in the face of all temptations. The passage in Ephesians 6:10-18 clearly reminds us that we always need to put on the Armor Of God because we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. And the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit.
Having said that , prayers are powerful and should always be a part of our daily lives. And the same with living out our Christian lives and helping others, which I believe a lot of us are already doing. Sharing on Sunday is fine too, but in my opinion the preaching of God's Word is a must, even though the length of the sermon can vary.

Hey Donna - I love your feedback, and I'm really thankful for it! I don't hear you speaking out too often, so your input means even more to me. "Community sharing" has been scheduled a number of times, but I don't think we've ever managed to pull it off - other than maybe the sichuan mission team sharing - which I think was a fairly powerful time.

However, yes I definitely still would like to have more 'community sharing' and I hear you on having it happen in other time slots as well - absolutely! I want the word of God every single day as well. We're far from meeting other people's needs, let alone god's standards for us all as well... I hope we can definitely address this more as a community - i'm thrilled you brought this up!
